Outside brooder

I am debating whether or not to use an outside deep litter brooder this year. I have not tried deep litter before. I live in Central Kansas where the weather is anything but predictable. What are your opinions?

For the short amount of time they will be in the brooder I don't think it would make a difference, I would keep them inside with the changing weather better safe than sorry.
