When can chicks be moved outside in a coop /run. We have had chickens before but that was about 3 years ago.. they are going on 5 weeks. Still inside now. We have barred rockers and 3 Cochin bantams. They are jumping every where. I feel they need not room but don't have anything larger to use inside. Any suggestions. Thanks in advance

5 weeks, definitely can be out to coop in just about any temp. They aren't still under heat are they? If so, turn it off. They're big kids now.

Also we still have 2 grown chickens left from previous flock. 1 barred rock and 1 golden seabright.

By 5 weeks they should be off heat completely.
I even open the windows in the brooder room to get them used to a cooler ambient temp.
Do you have a place to put them in the coop separated from the older birds to begin integration?

Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!

So take them off the heat light? And put them in coop only for now

Not quite...

You need to ease them from whatever temperatures they're being kept at, to whatever temperatures are outside.

You also need to set up somewhere they can be safe outside, while in view of your existing birds. "See but no touch." It can be as simple as a wire crate in the coop, or dividing off part of the run. But they need to be exposed to each other until the adults lose interest/don't show aggression, and then carefully allowed to spend time together while still being kept safe, as shown in aart's link above (my set up is also linked in that article).
