My chickens run is so huge I have to mow it weekly. I have feed and water inside the coop and because my gals like being outside so much, I keep feed and water out there too. On the outside of the coop my husband built a lean to roof, so when it rains or at night I put the outside feeder underneath it to keep it dry. My chickens love to have "Picknicks" outside on nice days too, LOL.
