What kind of chicks are they? That makes a difference in coloring.

I got them from tractor supply and they said they are isa Browns .

Mine are 4/5 weeks old, I have one of those sea side looking huts with the attached run. I have been giving them outside access but I put the hut on boards since the ground was uneven and muddy Today the snow melted enough, I moved them to a flat dry area. They were very happy.

I’m surprised we have so much green because it has been so cold lately! Today is the first nice day in a while. I’m in VA.

I was thinking, man that kinda looks like our yard...I wonder if they’re in Virginia!

My little salt box coop, I put tarp over the top, even though it had a metal roof.. just for extra protection. I have 22 babies inside, a broody hen is taking up camp out side, she would peck the babies..I added a little drawerless dresser on one end for more play area, the chicks are 4 weeks old or so.
