Outside this mornin

Well, moved the chicks outside this mornin.. so far so good, the cats want to play with them.. looks like a couple Cuckoos in the mix and I’m happy with that.. I’ll move the light out there before this evening and stretch a tarp around half of the wire brooder to give them some security and privacy at night. This hatch of chicks were extremely flighty early on.. and already gettin out of the tub in the kitchen.. so I’m 2 weeks ahead this spring moving them out.. but they’ll be fine..

When you say wrap a tarp around the wire brooder.... What kind of wire are you talking about?

They can be little trouble makers. Hope all goes well.
 
Gotta be smarter than the equipment you’re workin with... lol.. I’ve really never had a problem with chicks.. anywhere I have a clutch of bitties, It is always double and triple secured... just little things that you pick up over 25 years raising chickens.. thanks for the concern tho..

Looks like a double post.. the other has pictures. They are all just fine, I was out at 4:00 this mornin and they were asleep, filled feeder and put up some barn tin for a wind break, have bad storms coming tonight may be a different story tomorrow morning.. thanks for askin
