I have a pekin drake and an Indian runner which I'm not too sure if it is female or male.
If the Indian runner is male how will they get along with no breeding partners?
But if he's female will I need to buy more ducks so he doesn't over-breed her?

If it's two drakes then they will most likely just breed each other. If the Indian Runner turns out to be a female then I would purchase at least 2 other females to prevent excessive breeding.

I have a flock of only three drakes an they all get along great! They don't try to mate with eachother now although they may as spring continues. This will not hurt them though. If your runner is a boy, they will get along fine, if it is a girl I would buy another girl. Just the pair may work out but I would be safe and get another girl.

Are your ducks out of the brooder or are they still ducklings? You can tell the gender of your runner buy listening to its voice if its older. If it is raspy then it is a boy, if it has a loud quack then its a girl. Males also usually have a curled tail feather.
