I've never lived such a horrible and depressing "spring" in my life.

And I've seen 40 of them.

It's been snowing thickly for 9 hours now and it's scheduled to fall until tomorrow night.

My flower gardens are buried.
Our lawn is buried.
Our car is buried.
The coop run netting is buried and ruined (4 hours of work down the drain).
The flock is going crazy locked up in the coop.

Then it will all melt again and be one giant mud hole.

Remind me again why I live here? Cuz I'm THISCLOSE to moving to Texas!!

(photo taken earlier today, there's twice as much snow now - I'm posting a video on my blog soon... at least the dogs love it!)

Awww, that sucks! We may get some snow tonight, but I doubt it will stick, right now it's just raining.

I'm down here in South Alabama smack dab in between MS and Pensacola FL, approx 6 miles from the Forida state line and they're predicting lower 40's for tonights temps.

I'm in a t-shirt and no socks at the moment.....

If it were only the dogs and us, I don't think I'd panic so much... but my poor flock!

Their run is destroyed and my newly-hatched chicks are coming down with wet coughs and sneezes because of the cold humid weather and crazy fluctuations in temps!
