Overwhelmed by what to feed

Okay, my 16, week old Bantys that I got from Lonecowboy and the almost three week old RIR, BR, and Americaunas that my overzealous DH brought home yesterday

(7 in all will post pics to see if someone can sex for me, I'm thinking 4 out of the 7 are Roos

) are all eating Purina Start and Grow. I'm reading all about the Avia Charge and the Rooster Booster Vitamins, or Kickin Chickin, and the Chick Quick that Lonecowboy sent home with me. Are all of these necessary (not at the same time) but do we really need to supplement right now or just let them eat the feed like the Purina salesman said.

And as for things like DE, do I need that right now or wait until they go outside?

Give them just the start and grow. If they are eating and drinking and are warm enough, they'll be fine

My opinion and how I do things....I don't give them anything else at that age but the starter/grower, it has everything in the feed they need...

I'm sure somewhere along the line the Avia Charge, and Rooster Booster would be a good thing to supplement once in awhile in their feed or water...I've never used either....

DE I use in my henhouse for the adult chickens...I use some in their feed to help with bugs and worms...I use it in the coop to keep bugs at bay and it helps with the poo smells and keeps the shavings dry.....I sprinkle on the hens and roosters at times to keep bugs off them.....

Ks and TOH thanks for repsonding. My body actually released tension when I read your posts. I know it sounds silly but like everyone, I just want to make sure they are being spoiled and taken care of.

Just the feed

I give mine the occasional treat.. an apple last night, some sweet potato over the weekend, stuff like that. But other than that it's starter feed and water

Yep, all I do is the feed. Unless sick or just shipped in, I don't use water supplements... and often it's just sugar water at that!
