We are/will be at about $2k per year for 2 horses. Just about where we figured.

For my 4 it's $6400 a year. The single biggest expense is hay!

I don't know what I pay for everything. My parents still pay for a but load of everything.

(mom=Me) Well for this year it would be over 100,000 for the farm we just bought. Maybe i should revisit this calculator.

Wow. I REALLY hate you for posting this. My total for three horses is... Drum roll please....

$17,975.00

The really sad thing is that my annual costs for my retired guy and my mini-horse (who I keep at home) are only $3,520 so that means my competition horse alone is $14,455. OUCH.
