This page is for communications and information regarding the Saturday Swaps located at the Oxford TSC : 1272 Main St Oxford, ME
The Oxford Tractor Supply Swaps are on the 3nd Saturdays of the month.
If you plan to set up as a vendor at the swaps the following guidelines need to be followed. It is your responsibility, not that of the Lewistion Swap, or Tractor Supply Company. Asking to join the page/group indicates that you have read and agree to these guidelines. As always it is free to set up a table so come set up and sell your stuff. The swap is not just for chickens but can be other farm animals (goats, ducks, sheep, turkey, pigs, etc...) or anything farm related or made on your farm (soaps, fur, etc...). Included farmers market if you grow your own fruit and vegs. Also welcome to bring plants, seedlings, gardening tools and other gardening related stuff.
Any one with local groups (boy scouts, churches etc..) That want to do BBQs or bake sales are welcome as well.
This store used to be really big when the swaps where going on. So the hope is to get it back to the levels it used to be. This store sets near the walmart and right on the main road so plenty of traffic and is visible from the road so always plenty of customers. the store just asks that we do not block the flow of customers to the store. Please if able bring your own boxes or something to bring home your new addition as boxes can be hard to come by at the swaps.
IT WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH VENDOR TO ABIDE BY STATE OF MAINE LAWS AND REGULATIONS; TO PROVIDE ANY REQUIRED LICENSING, ADEQUATE SHELTER, CAGING, WATER AND FOOD FOR THEIR ANIMALS; & TO CLEAN UP THEIR AREAS WHEN LEAVING.
