I sure went thru a gallon of Oxine real quick. I never thought I'd run out, but here I am waiting for bottle #2.
Just mixing and spraying.
I thought a gallon would last a year!

What is oxine and what is it used for?

Oxine kills several different viruses that chickens and many other animals can acquire. It's best if you have a fogger to put in the coops with them, but you can use a spray bottle and mist it over their heads.

I sprayed the whole inside of the coop. I mixed to a ratio of 6 ounces per gallon, in the sprayer you connect to a hose. I also did a pen and another small coop. I really saturated everything.

I tried using one of those garden attachments, but the water comes out by the gallons, pretty fast. So, I have one of those pump up sprayers. Was looking at the fogger jr. I have a Fog Master, the biggest one they make, but we used it for insect spray, and I can not get the smell out. I tried bleach and oxine. Maybe, I should run vinegar through it. Anyway, didn't want to take a chance of any residue killing the birds.
