This is the antibiotic I have on hand. I had two young pullets get sick this past week. Both showing signs of wry neck. I'm not sure what's going on but I've been treating them both as if it's a vitamin deficiency and there has been no improvement. They are isolated and I'd like to add in an antibiotic before having to resort to putting them down. I am leaving for vacation in one week and am thinking I would like to treat my whole flock before I go. (They are breeding silkies and I don't eat the eggs so withdrawal is not an issue). Is it safe to treat everyone as a preventative with this antibiotic? I don't want anyone getting sick while I'm gone. Also the back of the package does not say if it is referring to a teaspoon or a tablespoon. Can anyone please help me with dosing?? Thank you!
