Can you use the liquid with chickens???? It’s all the feed store had, unfortunately.
Welcome To BYCCan you use the liquid with chickens???? It’s all the feed store had, unfortunately.
I was going to do /mix the powder into their water, with the doses y’all have discussed. But I cannot find anything on the liquid form of it
If it's injectable, then it needs to be injected.I have a question. What if you only have the injectable version of Oxy available. What is the dosing in water for a flock?
Welcome To BYC
Do you have LA-200? If so, it would need to be injected. Here's more info.
Good Luck.

Thanks Kathy!!
I'll give my chicks the higher dose, of 800 mg!
But the point I wanted to make is the picture you posted says the dose for 800 mg equals 2,5 tablespoon per gallon, but in reality (see my calculations) it's 1/4 teaspoon. That's a big differance, and I just wanted to share this to other ppl so they won't overdose their chicks!
Thanks Kathy!!

I'm not sure that it can be given orally, and I am not sure what the dose is. I thinkI remember hearing that it was 40 mg/kg, but I don't know where that was. Maybe you could try 25 mg/kg twice a day?Hello Kathy,
Sorry for hopping onto this thread, but I don't yet completely understand how to use this site and I don't know how to contact you directly. I have the Durvet Duramycin 72-200 injectable. I saw on a separate thread that it also can be given orally. If this is correct, can you please advise me on dosage for a tiny Serama chicken? I estimate his weight to be 6-7 ounces. Thanks!
