Oy, the lonely chick

I'm trying feather duster, mirror and time.
Pray at least one more chick hatches.
Such a little sweetie. I dont' blame her for crying.

Thanks for your ideas!

I hatched an only child once before. A pullet. I tried to play with her often and eventually ordered her some brothers and sisters that were weeks younger than her, but she appreciated them. It being November, I guess that is out. Maybe you could try again. True your little one will be 3 weeks older, but with so many, you might have the luck I did.

Neo doesn't like the feather duster standing up, it must be on its side so he can sit next to it. I have a display mirror in there with him and a nice big sheet of aluminum along one wall. He doesn't cheep unless he's cold.

no response to the mirror, maybe too young
I have 3 week olds in the living room. I put his box next to them. He quieted down and went to sleep.
Seems ok now. Snuggled into the feather duster.
whew

atleast one of those things helped, s/he was prob wiped out, after a good rest it will be back up playing again and we will see if he finally takes to the mrror lol

Today is day 21, so my ONLY hatched a day early.
I'm hoping these other babies may still hatch AT LEAST ONE MORE!
I'll candle them before I toss them. I'm leaving the incubator closed up for now.
