Oyster shell and a Roo!!

I have a couple of hens who will (hopefully) begin laying sooner than later, and just realized that there is a roo in the coop w/ them (I asked for pullets

). My question is...can a roo do well munching on free choice oyster shell? Will it harm him in any way? Any advice will be greatly appreciated (and, frankly, bragged upon

)!
