I have 9 pullets that are 8 weeks old and one that is 25 weeks old. I just put them together. Should I leave out oyster shell for my older girl? or should I put it up until the others are 18 weeks?

Thanks!

By all means make the oyster shell easily available to the layers. The small ones may sample it from time to time, but it's not something they will gorge on given that their immature bodies will not be craving it until they begin to lay. The tiny amount they may eat won't cause any harm.

Thank you! I wasn't sure. It is out for her, but I wanted to make sure.
