Oyster shells

I have a 2 sided mineral feeder (probably made for goats.) It is hanging on the coop wire low enough for the adult chickens to reach easily but high enough that they don't kick too much litter into it. I keep oyster shell in one side and regular grit in the other. It seems to work well.
This is what I use as well

Thank you all for your input! The two sided pail seems like a good Idea I'll see what my local feed store has first (I know they're cheaper on food) and then TSC

I bought mine at TSC - so you should be able to find one there in the goat section if your local store doesn't have something useful.

I offer it in a small pail I got at TSC.View attachment 1104161 I removed the handle and use a eye screw to mount to a stud in a corner. I can remove pail by turning eye screw a quarter turn. Buy an eye screw that fits through horizontally, but not vertically. I drilled four 3/32 holes in bottom to drain moisture. GC

best idea I have heard of in awhile thanks there
