Oyster Shells

It's about time for my hens to start laying. Should I mic oyster shells in there food, in the grit or separately?

Separate dish for oyster shell. I use a chick feeder for mine.

I do grit and oyster shells side by side , sometimes in the same dish , they pick out what they need ..... I use layer feed which has some Calcium in it , I had a bunch of soft eggs and hens that wouldn’t get the oyster shell....I bake and feed them egg shells too

I give Oyster Shells in a separate container and Poultry Grit in its own container. .
I also put Shells and Grit in mixed bird seed that I scatter in their pen as a treat. GC
