Paco's foot

For those of you who have been following my thread about bumblefoot on my dearest Paco. I am going to share a updated picture and would like to know if I should peel his scab off? Parts of his scab look like it is starting to fall or peel off so I wasn't sure if I should try to peel it off or let it peel off on its own.The darker black parts are the parts that are starting to peel off.

Are you still soaking? and using the cream? I think I'd just soak really good and give it more time. With the swelling still there maybe there is still some infection going on. But it doesn't look like the scab is ready yet.

I have not yet had to deal with bumble foot thank goodness, but I believe like any sore the scab is there to help heal unless there is noticable infection (pus) caught under it. Best of luck!

If infection was still in the foot it wouldn’t of scabbed over so good and redness and swelling would be seen.

I wouldn’t soak it anymore. Spray on antiseptic and keep the foot clean and dry.
