Last Wednesday there was an accident with my new batch of chicks. I feel so badly. My brooder lamp fell on one of my 2.5 week old babies. She was hurt so badly I didn't think she was going to make it. She can't walk/stand. Has been laying on her side with her eyes closed. I thought the end was here last night when she started spazzing and every ounce of liquid came squirting out. Sad and painful to see. I can't bring myself to cull her. This morning about 5am. She was chirping. I attempted to feed/water her with the medicine dropper and she took to it. Ate and drank soooo well. She is still going as strong as can be expected. Just got done giving her more water and food. She is chirping, but not sure if she is in pain. She still can't walk/move. Laying on her side resting.

Is there a pain reliever or anything I can give her to make her more comfortable? Even if she doesn't make it, I don't want her to suffer.

help... advice...

I'm so sorry about your poor chick.

If you can, please take her to a vet. A vet can tell you if she has internal injuries or broken bones and whether she will recover or not and, either way, be the best to tell you what kind of medication to give to her.
