Painful Lump above eye

I cannot get a good photo because she’s really skittish. Over a week ago I saw my hen sitting with her left eye closed. A day or two later I notices a small bump above her eye. I suspect she either scratched it or was pecked there and it’s become infected. I have been using an antibiotic salve on it twice a day for over a week now and there is no improvement. It’s clearly bothering her as she keeps rubbing it on her back, and sitting with her one eye closed. I see nothing else going on with her based on close inspection. Any suggestions as to what else I can do? I presume it’s kind of like getting bumblefoot above her eye. I can’t soak it or pick at it like I could on her foot, so I’m at a loss as to how to help her get better.

It's hard to see the bump. What ointment are you putting into the eye?
Next time you go to treat her, can you get someone to take some photos of the eye while you hold her?

Is she eating/drinking o.k.? No lesions, canker or spots inside the beak or sides of the mouth?

Have you flushed the eye really well with saline to see if anything will rinse out?

Il try to get a better photo. The lump is above her eye, not in it. I’ve been using a triple antibiotic on the lump and all around it. I checked eyes, mouth, vent, poop, felt her all over and can’t find anything else. She is eating and drinking, but not as as much as usual, and spends a lot of time sitting with her eye closed.
