paint color for inside coop?

Originally the walls were painted "Lettuce Alone" green. After cleaning poop off of them, from many cleanings, the paint started to rub off. Hubby suggested adding White Fiberglass Reinforced Wall Panel (FRP) that Lowe's carried. It is so very easy to wash poop off! We added it to the bottom 1/3 of the coop and the upper walls still stay pretty clean.

My mural to cover the large bare wall

Looking through the coop window:

your mural is absolutely gorgeous:) Will you come paint mine when my barn is rebuilt? LOL

Just wanted to add I use the Fiberglass and I LOVE IT! Here is a pic of my new rebuilt roost/poop board/nesting boxes that I designed and hubby built. How I'm going to get this out of my basement is beyond me:)

We painted ours a cantaloupe color. Lighter & brighter for a coop is better in my opinion...
and we kept our nest box dark.

In reference to painting coops, is there any certain paints that should or should not be used as far as toxicity or anything or does it not matter? I'm referring to outside and inside. Thanks!

I white wash inside my coop every June with a Salt, Lime and water mixture (there are different recipes on the Internet). It does two functions it brightens and freshens the interior plus protects against insects. This question will most likely have responses all over the map.
