Paint Markings from Hatchery

How long do the paint markings on my males last that I got from the hatchery (Mt. Healthy if it makes a difference)??

Since we specifically ordered 2 roos and they marked them I'd like to continue to keep them marked in some way - like zip ties around the leg. But I was wondering how long the paint would be around so i have time to get the zip ties.

I would guess until they lose their fuzz, so probably 6 to 8 weeks?
