Sorry but I'm not naming names since I've referenced a poor hatch rate. I firmly believe the poor hatch rate is my own fault but others may not perceive it that way. Eggs are a risk no matter what and I would never want to even insinuate that it might be the breeders fault. As I stated before, considering I used the LG I feel fortunate to have even one hatch. I'm not saying you want the name of the breeder for anything more than getting your own eggs but others are not so open minded. I'm grateful to have my little singleton!

Everyone has different hatch rates. Mamawolfe hatched 11 out of 15 of my eggs, but others are not hatching that many. So, I think the incubators might have something to do with it. Or how far they have had to travel.

Your baby is sweet! Very nice markings and very healthy looking. I have a singleton right now, too... not sure what colour she will end up being. If nothing else it will be spoiled by Mama, Aunties & Daddy. (Mine is with her flock.) LOL... here I am calling it a "she" already. (Wishful thinking.)

Oh madamwlf, I think your babies are just adorable!! I would LOVE to hatch out a paint showgirl, and I've actually added a couple paint showgirls to my breeding group. I see some nice spots on it! Those other two babies are cuties as well. My 2 eggs are developing well and are currently on day 9. I'm really hoping they hatch. My understanding is that eggs coming from the hen that laid have been paint or blue. I actually bought a couple of the paint babies when I bought the adult trio laying the eggs:
Here are the older paint babies (that sure would like to have a couple younger siblings!)

And here are their
