He/she is not from my breeding, I got some from a friend. As soon as the other ones are willing
I hope to start breeding them.

Don't no the age?? All she said was last year some time and I REALLY wish I new!!!

how old do you think by looking at him? Less than 6 months or closer to a year?

I have found the paints to be slow maturing. Our girls are just now laying and they are a little over 6 months...which is about right or even a bit early for silkies. But the cockerel is the same age and just starting to call the girls to food...not even attempting breeding yet.

This could be younger than six months? I am jsut guessig and really don't no at all.
I do no they aren't laying or calling any of the girls in for food. I have heard a few of them crowing but don't no who?
Whenever you run out to look as fast as you can of course they don't do it anymore lol....They seem to want to scrap with
each other a lot too!!
