So this is the hen and rooster I’m starting out with. My rooster has the mottled feet and I think they both have a bit of leakage! I’m just learning the genetics of paints and want to know what I need to do to correct this!

The paint pattern is based heterozygous dominant white and the exchequer pattern is based on the recessive mottling mutation, they are both based on Extended black background(solid black), in Silkies I believe the paint mutation is based on Heterozygous white instead, like the Erminette pattern(named after the Erminette breed)
