Painting run AFTER wire is attached?

Our run was delivered today....in pieces. I want to paint it to help make it last longer. What’s the easiest way to paint the wood areas that have hardware cloth over them? You are all so helpful! Thank you again!

Spray paint! We used a roller and brush but if it’s not perfectly flush it was so tricky to get it all covered! We then tried spray paint to cover the missed patches, and I wish I did that right from the start
