Offering a pair of 10 week old Easter Eggers in Brevard County Florida.
The two are bonded and must go together. BYCers have judged them to be pullets, but that is not a guarantee.
These are birds that are not human oriented. They would be best in a covered area because they fly very well, or on a big track of land where they can free range. They do settle down nicely in your lap for a spell, but only if you can catch them first. They go from their run to the coop at night with no problem.
I have not been able to get them to accept treats by hand, and I would not recommend them for around children.
They just do not fit my small flock in personality, but I think they are actually very good survivors and foragers for a free range set up.
