pale comb and stumbling

Diatomacious Earth will not kill worms internally. DE works great in the dry form for external mites on the body of the bird, but when it gets wet in the birds system, it loses it ability to cut the exoskeletons of the parasites.

I use a few different meds and alternate, Wazine, (kills round worms only) Safeguard Liquid Goat Wormer, (kills nearly everything except a few tape worm species,) and finally Valbazen, (this kills everything.)

Can you find Piperazine? This is the ingredient in Wazine. It only kills round worms, but these worms tend to be the most common worm in poultry.

Can you ask your vet about wormers? Oh, wait....let me go find something for you...Take a look here at this....http://www.viovet.co.uk/Flubenvet_W...oa_network=g&gclid=CLnLxe6Yv8UCFRCCaQod2aYAcw

This is in the UK. I have never used this product but I have heard it works well.

Unfortunately Camilla just passed away, tucked up in a warm blanket in my arms. Thanks everyone for your help

I wish I could have helped her more. At least her last moments were all warm and being loved in your arms. I hope your heavy heart can heal soon.

Again, I am so so sorry.

I am so sorry to hear about Camilla. That's hard when we lose a bird, especially when you get so close to them tending to their needs.

@TheRoyals , you did everything you could for her and I'm sure it was a comfort to her being in your arms.

@TwoCrows , I've always admired the knowledge you have about health needs. This has demonstrated once again how caring members are on BYC.

Bless you both
