Pale comb color

Molting 2-3 yr hen just noticed pale comb color when put in for the night. Was around 80 degrees today, have huge fenced in run in northern idaho under pine trees. Plenty of open source water & shade. I need any suggestions.

Not unusual. A molting bird will be out of production and normally the comb will pale and shrivel till fully recovered from molt.

Yes normal . A molting chicken in the heat is a double whammy too. You can't go wrong with some extra supplements, electrolytes..
