Pale comb Mites?

The one I have is pictured below. Any permethrin product will work. If it's a concentrate the instructions for mixing for poultry should be on the label. You can also get poultry powders that contain permethrin if you want to dust the birds rather than spray them (which is good if it's cold and you don't want the birds wet), I've pictured one below.

Which one has been the best for you?

I find that spray works better in the coop, gets into the nooks, crannies and cracks better. In summer I spray the birds, if it's winter or too cold, I use the powder. Put the powder in a bag, put the bird in the bag with the head sticking out and shake the bag to cover the bird, while keeping it closed around the neck. Minimizes any inhalation by the bird. Just make sure that which ever you use, you part feathers and make sure the product gets all the way down to the bases of the feathers.

Yeah ima use the spray right now it’s in the 70s to 80s. So I’m gonna have to remove all the bedding and replace it and spray the bedding with the spray and also the chickens

One more question when she is laying in her nest box she growls at the other chickens when they get close to her and sometimes peck them and when I get close to her she doesnt she is sometimes fluffed up and her comb is red she lays and is a buff Orpington could she be broody?

If she's still laying, then not fully broody. They will stop laying then. She may just be very territorial about her nest while she's in it, or may be thinking about being broody. Some flirt with it but don't ever actually commit and sit. If she won't leave the nest at all, then you will know she's broody.
