Hi there. This morning I noticed one of my barred rocks has gone completely pale (photo attached), is lethargic, and won't eat. I checked her for mite/lice (none), her crop is fine, but she feels very skinny. The photo actually makes her appear pinker, she is almost yellow, especially around her cheeks. She might have diarrhea, but it is hard to tell since she appeared sick only this morning and she has not been separated as of yet. My thought is to give the flock a de-wormer today and see if it helps her condition. She is one of 6 hens, but non of the others show any signs of being sick. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. There are so many possibilities, I really don't know where to start. Thank you very much!

I just got back from Tractor Supply and the only wormer was Wazine 17 for turkey, chicken or swine. One question, it notes the following dosage for chickens over 6 weeks of age-- "for each 100 birds, use 2 fluid ounces in 2 US gallons." Since I only have six hens, how should I break down the water to an even small flock? Ugh.

I'm fairly remote, but will start checking online for stores with the Safeguard liquid goat wormer or Valbazen liquid. Are there any other all-around wormers I can look for?

Also, my hen that had a yellow face died and I had her necropsied. In addition to other things, she had hepatitis and tumors in her liver. Liver problems can cause yellowing of the face and skin.

Wazine dosage is one ounce per one gallon of water for 24 hours only. It must their sole source of water to drink.
Here's a link where you can buy Valbazen:

Use a syringe without a needle to administer the valbazen orally undiluted. Dosage is 1/2cc given orally to each chicken. Redose all your birds again in 10 days.
