We have 4 plymouth rock chickens and live in southwest Florida. One of our chickens suddenly became lethargic and is no longer energetic. In addition her comb is very pale and there is a small spot by the comb where here bare skin is exposed. We are adding minerals and electolytes to the cold fresh water daily but nothing has changed. I would appreciate any help before it's too late.

Welcome to BYC. How old is she? Was the bare skin from a wound or pecking? Do you have a picture of her? Does she lay eggs? Can you look at her skin under the vent, belly, and elsewhere for any mites or lice? Is she losing any feathers or starting to molt?

She is 3 years old. No wounds. She is not currently laying eggs for at least 1 month. Will check again for parasites underwings and belly. She is not molting. I will attach a picture.
