Pale comb

Hi

My 7 month old EE has had a pale comb off and on for 2 days. Sometimes it is pink like normal and sometimes it gets pale. She is acting normal, laying normal and eating normal. I have read on some posts it can be the heat but my other chickens have had their normal comb. Picture attached. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Is she laying eggs?

Comb color can fluctuate throughout the day, especially when a pullet is in lay. Watch to see if it's nice pink or red then pales after she lays an egg.

Thanks. It seems to flucate from minute to minute even a few hours after she lays. I have watched a the color fade right before my eyes. It's so weird. Everything else is fine.

My hens' combd changes from a rich red to an orange when thy are relaxed and lying down under the coop or napping.
