Pale comb

My beautiful little Hamburg finished her moult about 8 weeks ago but her comb remains stubbornly pale. She is well, eats like a horse and seems to be happy. She is probably about 4 years old. Surely she hasn't finished laying yet?

Probably not. It is just taking her longer to regain her hormonal levels due to her age. I believe that right now you are still dealing with shortened day light period - this too is impacting her return to laying.
