Pale Comb

One of my pullets stopped laying about a week ago and since then her comb has been very pale. She also seems to have some feather loss on her face. She is acting normal (aside from not laying).

I had been putting a little ACV in the water and stopped just before she stopped laying. Perhaps that is related? I will start putting ACV in the water again and watch for improvement.

Any thoughts?

She MIGHT just be molting but she might be really sick

How old is she?

I dout it is anything serious since their are no other symptoms of illness.

Now that you mention it there are tons of black feathers throughout the coop! I bet that's it! Thanks!

Just as a precaution, inspect her for lice/mites especially around the vent area.

No sign of any mites on her or any of my other birds, so that's good news.
And she's young, just a pullet of 9 or 10 months.

EDIT: Her comb is back to normal!
