A number of my chickens have pale combs. I have heard this is a sign of lice/mites or worms. I have checked them and don't see signs of any of the above. I was wondering if it could be because said chickens are the lowest in the pecking order and their combs get pecked a lot and bleed. Does this deduction make sense?
If this is the problem, what could I do to lower the pecking in my flock?
Thanks!!!!

To help them stop pecking I put a 'Flock Block' in my coop.
They pecked that instead of eachother.
I hope this helps!
