pale shrunken comb, barely poops, could this be beginning of molt?

around a week ago my girl stopped laying eggs and it was a raise for concern until i came to conclusion it was the beginning of her molt. this is my first chicken i’ve owned and cared for so all of this is very new and small things are alarming to me. she hasn’t been pooping as much and when she does it a huge amount in one go and a couple smaller ones, the looks of her poop though are healthy and fine, just a large quantity. she also hasn’t been as active and loud as she usually is, her comb is smaller and paler than before but her crop seems to be normal so i don’t think it’s sour crop causing her behavior. is this just the beginning of a molt or should i be more concerned? her feathers are all still intact we haven’t had any feather loss yet to my knowledge. if pictures are needed i’ll provide them soon.

she’s a couple weeks away from being a year old. there are pin feathers on her face and a few on her chest

Sounds like she's molting if she's got pin feathers coming in on her neck and face.

Watch to see that she's eating and drinking. Some birds don't eat very well during molt and they can be standoffish since the new feathers coming in are uncomfortable, especially when being handled.

she’s been eating and drinking just fine, maybe even more than usual? i’ll keep an eye on her, she just seems a little less excited about dust baths and earthworms lately which was a bit of a concern to me, but she still loves mealworms
