Pallet coop, anyone?

I am interested in constructing a coop that would house 20 or so chickens from recycled/repurposed wood pallets. Has anyone done this? Anyone have pictures of theirs and/or building plans?

I built this one out of pallets. It's 8x8 and the roof is high to about 5 on the low end. I just kind of started stacking and screwing and ended up with this.

here is my pallet home for my chickens it took me about 4 weekends to complete i have a door on the back so i can go in.

its two pallets for the front and back and two for each side, i have a electric brad nail gun so i filled all the gaps from the pallets with cut pieces of pallet boards, my coop now have a fence around it but i have not taken pictures of it yet.

@little buddy - how did you do the frames for door and window? Did you leave your pallets whole, or disassemble??

I attempted to build a pallet coup as temporary lodging for my pullets this spring. I had about 20 pallets to tear down. After about 45 minutes I got the first one apart ok. I worked on the next two for quite awhile and the boards kept breaking. I gave up after that, I figured I had really poor quality pallets to work from. I've seen some great pictures of pallet coups. However, plan on spending considerable time and effort breaking down the pallets.

The best way I found for taking them apart is a saws all with a demo blade. Cut right through the nails.

They dont touch the foam anymore and I left the pallets whole I just eye balled the door and made it word I use a sawzall and a demo blade to cut the pallets.

That's an adorable coop, dh has a ton of pallets that he has been setting aside to make dual adirondack chairs with a table in between. Out girls need a new coop as the one we bought a few months ago has started coming apart (it was second hand and a dog apparently got into it and killed the chickens the guy before us had.
