Out of pancakes and waffles, waffles will always win. It gets a little crispy, it perfectly holds butter or syrup, and tastes amazing.

French toast and waffles would probably be tied and it’d depend on my mood.

Yes to all three.

That said, I go for waffles or French toast over pancakes. In addition to @Chicken poppy ’s excellent points, waffles freeze well (even if they’re never as good as fresh). I put a little vanilla and almond extract in mine; some day I will have to try making them from scratch.

French toast is faster and easier than the other two, and can be made in small enough batches that I have yet to need to freeze any. Haven’t figured out how to keep the cinnamon from floating to the top and only coating the first piece though!

Whisk lightly just before you dip each piece. Keeps the cinnamon in suspension.

French toast. The egginess makes me feel like I'm actually eating something besides just bread and sugar

Ever made it with half a slice of bacon fried into the center? You gotta mostly cook the bacon separately first, but hoo boy. So good!

I agree we need a "yes" option LOL. At home I like waffles becaue they are a very fast pop-in-the-toaster option. If I'm making things from scratch or eating out though, it's always either pancakes or french toast. I had to vote waffles though since I definitely eat the most of those due to the lazy factor.

Pancakes are okay.
