Panting baby chick

I would leave it with the Hen. Possibly it just was a bit warm. Sneezing doesn't always mean illness.

I was watching him with his mum and the other chooks and he wasn’t keeping up with them! Almost got trampled on, that’s why I removed him and put him on his own.
 
How hot is it where you live? It’s 45 celcius here in NSW at the moment and my baby chicks are hot but they have survived, even my day olds
Today it was only about 32 degrees Celsius so it wasn’t too bad! The last few days have been around 27-30 degrees. I live in Sydney.

I understand. I just let nature take its course. The longer it's alone the Momma won't take it back. Best of luck.

Thank you! I actually decided to put him back with mum, you’re right I certainly don’t want to cause the poor little thing more stress without mumma. I’ll just keep an eye and see how he goes.
