Panting Call Duck

That asprin eye drops does not sound right to me, asprin is an acid and can attack the lining of the gut which is a heck of a lot tougher than an eye. If it is sold for human eyes it may be OK, I just think you have the name wrong.

Spoke to the vet-she goes in tomorrow for a blood draw/testing. He told me to give her the tetramyacin until she can be seen. Thank God he's an avian vet.

Well, I had a great bunch of vets that are tag teaming my girl-3 to be exact.
They gave her Baytril suspension and this stuff called Critical Care for herbivores so that in case she won't eat, this has all of the nutrients she needs.
When I first walked in, I was the crazy duck lady, but by the time I walked out, everyone was in love with my beautiful little girl.

They cut me such an unbelievable break on the price that one of the vets is coming by to pick out a color-she wants some Call ducklings in the spring. Win-win because if she has her own, she'll learn all about their health/diseases and be an even bigger asset to me.
Keep your fingers crossed for my little Dorie-she is very sick.

Ask your friend to prescribe Baytril! I give 1/2 tablet 2x a day for the first 2 days and the 1/2 tablet once a day for 5 more days. I have used Baytril on my calls with no issues! Good luck!

Good "Call"! No pun intended.
Baytril seems to be the drug of choice for ducks. I'm so hoping she gets better soon. She is just adorable(of course, all Calls are).
