Update? Did your girl make it?
For the future (and I am sorry I totally missed this in your earlier post) - be careful about using magnesium spray directly on the chicken. It sometimes burns the skin (on humans, maybe on chickens) and chickens need a lot LESS than humans. I don't have a dosage chart/recommendations when using magnesium as a spray.
I use magnesium spray on a charlie horse/muscle spasm that is intense. That's the only time. I make a magnesium lotion that I use on myself and on the chickens for healing.
A little magnesium goes a long way, especially with chickens.
If you have a garden, offer your girl access. When one of my chickens was sick and not eating, I offered her a basket of stuff from the garden. She went straight for the onion greens and ate that. She got better. Vet said it may have been like an antibiotic to her (sulfates in onion greens, sulfates in antibiotics.)
