Leftover soup-er charged

Start with leftover chicken broth saturated rice that was under the reheated rotisserie chicken as well as all the deboned chicken bits from that rotisserie…

Add in the leftover “specialty grilled carrot slices” from toaster oven last night as well.

Add in at least a cup of the gelled chicken broth in fridge from previous rotisserie chickens.

Add the minestrone soup from Kroger.

Toss in the instapot set to “veggie steam” for 8 minutes and just let sit for an hour before opening it up…

Glad I have more than just 2nd’s this time!

Presentation is of the essence.

Another iteration of max-n-cheese plus….

Started with the dry elbows in bottom of instapot.
Sat the refrigerated rotisserie chicken on the noodles.
In measuring cup 2 very thick pads of butter, the seasoning packet and some water that equaled just over the 1 cup line. Nuked it just over 45 seconds total after stop & stir a few times.

Pours it over the chicken. Then added another … ohhhh, 1 1/2+cups of water & set the instapot to cook “rice” mode.

Came back about 2 hrs later.
Extracted chicken for deboning and chopping it up.

Dog got their usuals cartilage and skin and other scraps chopped up for their meals to come.

Found a back of peas & carrots & then saw the green beans under it.

Stirred up the elbow mix. Yeah it needed help.

A couple hand fills of the shredded cheese layered under and in between the frozen veggies. And a small bit of leftover queso in there too.

Set it to steam it all for that 8 minute veggie steam & set about to debone and pull and chop up the whole chicken…

This max n cheese mix was a “freebie”…. It was definitely lacking by itself.

And 2+ servings for the fridge as well.

Hey, Monkman, what's cooking?
(Lowers head in mild embarrassment)
A lot of simple stuff. Nothing worthy of this thread in a while - to be bluntly honest.

I did a soup last night that was worthy but, didn’t think about it until now…. The mix did have some leftover and it’s in the fridge so….. I can update later tonight…

It started as a “chicken chilli” soup container from Kroger….
