My reactions tell me we’re freaking people out. I have no idea why.

I’m guessing you’ve never had a dry socket….temp filling materials and packing for dry sockets use eugenol (clove oil) instant gagging!!!!! I can only use cloves for cooking in small amounts and rare occasion

I knew a girl that didn't like baklava because she thought you had to eat the clove that was stuck in each piece.

Baklava is amazing

I just didn’t realized people chew on them! I only use them for tea or certain baked goods.

Ground cloves in Tomato Soup cake and of course in pumpkin pie. Whole cloves in my Hot Sweet pickles and Green Tomato relish.
