Pantry raid warning to all general mills consumers

Alright, I am the most ridiculous person to have to say this, but no one else has and SOMEONE'S gotta. . .

Look, GMO food isn't bad for you. It's not poison, you don't need to panic and throw it out. There zero difference between eating a GMO potato and an organic one.
Where the difference is, is the methods used to grow it, and either you believe in the methods or you don't.
I believe in biodiversity. I believe a strong soil is one that has plenty of native plant. People mock organic crops for being weedy--that's not a flaw, it's a strength! Herbicides destroy soil health and fertility. Not from adding chemicals, but by killing plant life.
Pesticides are neurotoxins. Due to application timing and harvest methods, the consumer doesn't have to deal with any effects of that, but the people who DO are disproportionately Hispanic immigrants, often undocumented. The chemicals they apply and then work in travel home on their clothes, to their children.

There is a HUGE rise in learning disabilities and disorders on the autism spectrum in the children of migrant workers, but for some reason this is only ever talked about in the context of how much it costs the schools to deal with these kids.
There is a HUMAN cost to pesticides, but for some reason a dead butterfly is more traumatic to the average consumer than a child with permanent brain damage, so that's what people like to talk about.
I am obviously biased. I obviously believe strongly in my chosen system of production.

But all that said and done. . . If you already bought the food, it won't kill you, and you don't need to throw it out.

Actually gmos are banned in a lot of places. https://www.collective-evolution.co...completely-banned-genetically-modified-crops/
You can think what you will but for my familys sake i will not be using them in my household.

That's a decision I fully support! But a rat fed nothing but corn and pesticides is a far cry from some dried potatoes in a side dish.
All I am saying is, there is a LOT of misinformation or misleading information about the suitability of GMOs as a food, but the system of production is fairly straightforward.
I happen to think that destroying soil health and neurotoxins causing mental illness and learning disabilities in Hispanic children is why you shouldn't buy them.
You have a different reason, but we both agree that they shouldn't be bought.
Organic production has problems, don't get me started on THAT, but it's what I do, and I believe in it 100%.
Well, maybe 95!

It has been proven in a court of law that roundup which contains glyphosate causes cancer. ALL gmos contain this chemical. Its the equivalent of eating rat poison. As for the WHO (world health organization) they state that "there is no definative evidence that gmos are bad for your health". That means we have a combination of falsified science and truth. I would not take a pill that was not extensively tested. I am not a lab rat. Im not trying to tell everyone what to eat or not to eat. Its your life and you live it as you see fit. My problem is that these companies should be putting this on the front of the package...not hidden under the ingredients list in 10 pt type. Let the consumer make the decision and not force them to eat this stuff.
