Struggling to find wood chips around me and Amazon recommended me this, is it any good for chicks? Especially smaller quail chicks, a couple of reviews suggest it's a bit dusty. Just looking for something that will keep the smell to a minimum whilst they're brooding. Thank you

Should work fine. You may want to put some grippy shelf liner on top of it for the first two days though. It will be easier for them to learn to walk on.
I think for the first 3-7 days I'll use the puppy liners I usually use, just looking for something for the 1-4 week mark as it's getting hotter and theyre starting to get a bit smellier haha! Thank you.
That's what I used for my girls. The local feed store didn't have a lot of options. They ate some of the tiniest pieces but we didn't have any issues.
Oh perfect, thank you. Can't find wood shavings for a decent price anywhere around me at the moment!
