Paper towels not working for duckling bedding

But would have to deal with pond or pool….chickens are so easy, and I'm lazy.

One of my friends recently got a rescue duck off Craigs List and it is a house duck..so funny and so cute.

You could put their water dish inside a bigger dish. That will help cut some of the water mess down also.

I do a hundred ducklings for Easter sales. I raise them on wire,they turn bedding into soup and empty all water out,horrible mess other wise

Nope sorry. I've always used Pine Shavings. I know other people use the Pellets also but that was already suggested

They are adorable! I know there have been a few posts about this in the past but I don't know what they ended up using. Maybe try searching for it? How long did you leave them in the shavings before calling it quits?

Lol! No, ducks are so messy the last thing I would want is a pond in with them. I use a kiddie pool for my full grown ducks and dump is every 2-3 days. As long as they can dunk their head in water they should be fine. Not quite the same as chickens but they are personable so I take the trade off.
