I have been struggling hard core with my female duck’s feet the entire time I’ve had her. She is 1.5 years old. And originally I thought she just had chronically dry feet.. now she has cone-like warts growing out at her toes. And her feet are just so scaly. I was looking online today and came across Papillomavirus... I do have other ducks and am now extremely saddened, that if this is the case, there is no cure and it’s contagious. I will attach a photo. Yes, I know I need to cut her nails.. they’re quite long. But in the photo, there are very long wart growths. I’ve removed them, and they just grow back. PLEASE!! ANY ADVICE!! I DONT WANT TO PUT HER DOWN, I cannot have her contagious and infecting other birds and I definitely don’t want her suffering

That looks more like she has double toenails and her feet look like they have gotten a bit too cold so scaling off dead tissues. Does she get to swim regularly ? You can put lotion on the feet it doesn't hurt them.

Yes, she swims multiple times a day, she’s my only duck like this. Which is why I am so confused and struggling with her. My other duck had a small bumble which I treated, and it went away. So I knew it wasn’t bumble foot. Thank you for your advice! I will be cutting her nails and applying bag balm
