Paralyzed Chicken

1) Rhode Island Red, 6yrs Old
2) Gradually became paralyzed in one leg, and can't walk now, but is still eating.
3) Other than not being able to walk, seems healthy.
4) Been limping for a year, and gradually has become worse.
5) Water and its usual food.
6) Normal.
7) No treatment has been administered.
8 ) Not sure whether to treat or euthanize (is there a humane way to euthanize if this action is necessary?).
10) Outside coop, shared with 3 other chickens. Have free run of yard.

Any bruises or swelling on bottom of foot/feet?

Is she isolated?

Look up lymphoid leukosis...sounds like it. IMO it is best to euthanize if you confirm this is what he has. There is no recovery or long turn good results. The most humane way to put a bird down is to sever the spinal cord (remove head). I am sorry if you have to do this. While it's not easy for us, it is sometimes best and the quickest method for them. You could also take him to a vet to be put down if you don't have the heart to do it.
